Feb. 6: back again with a terrible parking space about 3 blocks away, north of North Avenue. Sat toward the back with a very friendly cocktail waitress, Marschetta from Bulgaria. I really should have tipped her more as she gave me a pair of door passes. Bought a dance from Michi, a gorgeous Filipina with big lips, brown skin and awesome curves. No navel piercing--perfect. Also bought a dance from Nya, a tall, slender white woman in a breathtaking purple dress. We talked for about 15 minutes. I also bought her a drink--$15--which I found rather disgusting. Had a nice time and plan to buy more from Michi again.
Just a note that patrons must pay cash for drinks for dancers. It's considered a tip; putting it on one's credit card tab is apparently similar to prostitution.

Jan. 2, 2010: After watching the Blackhawks game at a bar, I shot up the JFK to North Avenue and parked at about 1400 Kingsbury, near VIP’s and went into the club at about 10:20. Man, there’s always a line for Crobar next door! I had to open the VIP door myself (?), and the doorman said, “Welcome, it’s $20, you can pay the girl behind the counter.” I handed her my website pass. Here is my cost rundown for the night:
Cover: comp
Coat check: $2 + $1 tip
Bud Light: $7 (no tip—she was grumpy)
Lap dance: $20
Bathroom break: $1 tip
Total: $31
I only stayed for about 40 minutes. Valet parking is $11.99 (plus $1 tip), so if one leaves one’s coat in the car, then it’s net $10. My dancer was “Tianna,” who is (so she says) from Bangkok and Thai/Japanese. Beautiful. Non-pierced navel—shocker! No implants, either, I think. I started to hold her waist when she started dancing, and she said I could only do that in the private room. What? She said if I paid for that, she would comp the lap dance. Sigh.
One dancer who came up to say hello to me was not the slightest bit attractive. What do you say? “Not tonight, dear, I have another girl in mind.” I try to be nice. I’m not going to spend $20 on someone who doesn’t turn me on. There was a very attractive dancer from Guadalajara with a sexy Mexican accent and a couple of other beautiful women. It seemed pretty slow, especially for a Saturday night; I thought perhaps the cold weather kept people away. After walking around greeting customers, a number of the dancers sat down and talked amongst themselves. The music was loud but not deafening, unlike at Crobar next door.
Jan. 16, 2010, two weeks later: danced with Tianna again. I didn't see her right away and asked a host for her by name. He walked away and came back with her--very classy. Found a sweet parking spot about a half-block away. Valet is $12. VIP room is $250 for a half-hr., or comped if the customer purchases a bottle of liquor, which I would imagine starts around $350-$500. Same cocktail waitress. Plenty of beautiful women for every taste. Tianna was very friendly.
